Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Influencers of India?

Influencers of India is an influencer marketing platform that connects Brands, Advertisers and Businesses with Influencers and Content Creators for promotional campaigns.

The Platform may assist with influencer discovery, campaign coordination, Relationship Manager support, campaign payments, content delivery, revisions and Influencer payouts.

2. Is registration free for Influencers?

Yes. Influencer registration on Influencers of India is free.

Influencers can create their profile on the Platform without paying a registration fee.

However, free registration does not guarantee Brand campaigns, paid collaborations, selection or earnings.

3. What is Influencer Verification and how much does it cost?

Influencers can apply for Verified Influencer status for ₹99.

The verification process may include review of the Influencer’s profile, social-media presence and other relevant information.

A verified profile may help improve Brand confidence and may also provide access to Relationship Manager assistance for Brand connections and campaign coordination.

The ₹99 verification/service fee is non-refundable, subject to applicable law.

Verification does not guarantee campaigns, Brand selection or earnings.

4. Does verification guarantee Brand campaigns or income?

No.

Paying ₹99 for verification does not guarantee:

  • Brand collaborations;
  • Paid campaigns;
  • Minimum campaign opportunities;
  • Priority selection by every Brand;
  • Minimum income; or
  • Guaranteed earnings.

Campaign selection depends on factors such as Brand requirements, Influencer category, location, followers, engagement, audience, content quality and campaign suitability.

5. How can a Brand start a campaign?

A Brand can register on Influencers of India, provide campaign requirements and initiate a campaign through the Platform.

An applicable ₹299 campaign service fee is charged for starting/running a Brand campaign.

The service may include Platform campaign support, Relationship Manager assistance and Brand–Influencer coordination.

The ₹299 campaign service fee is non-refundable, subject to applicable law.

6. What fees are charged to Brands?

Brands may be charged:

  • ₹299 campaign service fee for initiating/running a campaign;
  • 10% Platform service commission on the applicable campaign budget;
  • Payment gateway or transaction charges where applicable; and
  • Applicable taxes, if any.

The exact campaign amount and charges may be communicated before or during the campaign process.

7. What commission is charged to Influencers?

Influencers of India charges an applicable 20% Platform/service commission from the Influencer’s campaign compensation.

For example, if the agreed Influencer compensation is ₹10,000, the applicable 20% Platform commission may be deducted before the remaining eligible payout is released.

Taxes, TDS or other statutory deductions may also apply where required by law.

8. When does an Influencer start working on a campaign?

An Influencer should generally begin campaign work only after Influencers of India confirms that the applicable campaign payment has been successfully received or authorized.

This process is intended to reduce payment-related risks and provide greater confidence to Influencers before they begin creating content.

9. Can a Brand cancel a campaign and get a refund?

Yes, subject to the campaign status and Refund Policy.

If cancellation is requested within 24 hours of successful campaign payment, the eligible campaign amount may be refunded after deducting applicable payment gateway, transaction or processing charges.

If cancellation is requested after 24 hours, the eligible refund may be processed after deduction of the applicable 10% Platform service charge, along with applicable payment-processing charges.

The separate ₹299 campaign service fee remains non-refundable.

10. What happens if the Influencer has already started the campaign work?

If the Influencer has already started working before the Brand requests cancellation, a full refund may no longer be available.

Influencers of India may consider the work already completed, time and effort invested, content produced and campaign status before determining the eligible refundable amount.

An appropriate amount relating to work already completed may be deducted from the refund.

11. Can a Brand get a refund after the Influencer completes the campaign?

Generally, no.

Once an Influencer has completed the agreed campaign deliverables substantially in accordance with the approved campaign brief, the applicable campaign amount becomes non-refundable, subject to applicable law.

A Brand cannot claim a refund merely because it later changes its marketing preference or because the content does not achieve an expected number of views, likes, sales, leads or conversions.

12. How many revisions can a Brand request?

A Brand may request up to two (2) reasonable revision rounds after the Influencer submits the campaign content.

These revisions must remain within the scope of the original campaign brief.

Requests for a completely new video, major concept changes, new shooting locations, additional deliverables or other significant changes may be considered additional work and may require additional charges.

Repeated or unreasonable revision requests may be treated as misuse of the campaign process.

13. Are Brand and Influencer contact details shared with each other?

No, private contact information is not automatically shared between Brands and Influencers.

Influencers of India does not intend to publicly display or directly provide private information such as:

  • Mobile numbers;
  • Personal email addresses;
  • Residential addresses;
  • Private social/contact details;
  • Bank details;
  • UPI details; or
  • Other private personal information.

Campaign communication may instead be coordinated through Influencers of India and/or the assigned Relationship Manager.

14. Will my personal information be publicly visible?

Private personal information such as your phone number, personal email, residential address, bank details, UPI information and other private contact details is not intended to be publicly displayed on the Platform.

For Influencers, limited professional information may be visible to Brands where necessary to evaluate campaign suitability, such as profile name, category, general location, follower information, content portfolio and verification status.

Private contact details are kept separate from such campaign-relevant profile information.

15. What does a Relationship Manager do?

A Relationship Manager (“RM”) may help facilitate and manage communication between Brands and Influencers.

The RM may assist with:

  • Brand–Influencer coordination;
  • Campaign requirements;
  • Influencer connections;
  • Campaign progress;
  • Deliverables;
  • Revisions;
  • Payment-process assistance; and
  • Campaign-related support.

The RM can also act as a communication bridge so that Brands and Influencers do not necessarily need to directly exchange private contact information.

Relationship Manager assistance does not guarantee campaign selection, earnings, sales or any particular campaign result.
